The wall mount is the perfect way to add functionality and organization to your garage, shed, shop or other storage space. It provides a standard 2" receiver that allows accessories to be mounted on the wall in the horizontal or vertical position to optimize your space. The 2" receiver accepts virtually any hitch accessory with a 2" or even 1-1/4" shank. It's ideal for hanging a ball mount, cargo rack, tow bar, weight distribution hitch, winch mount and others. Accessories can quickly and easily be secured with a hitch pin (not included), just like on your receiver hitch. The bracket is constructed from welded steel for solid strength, and it is rated to support up to 350 pounds.
This versatile hitch bracket can be bolted onto virtually any 2x4 stud, and it comes with two lag bolts for a complete installation.

So I have the 4 bike rack from Curt as well and it's all steel so fairly heavy. Even collapsed, it's big enough that it still took up a decent amount of space. I like it as it work great for little kids bikes but just bulky. Putting it on a shelf or in a cabinet was just not feasible so it lived on the floor in my shop for about 2 years. I got one of these wall mounts and since the shop is about 11 feet tall, I was able to mount it up and now I can walk under it without it being in the way! I love this thing and will need to be getting another for the cargo carrier! Install was easy and painless, just predrilled into the studs and ran the lag bolts in, done!
